EPW - Jurgensen, Copenhagen, quarter-hour repeater, 47mm, 18K gold OF original case with French eagle's head touchmark and Neuchâtel chevron hallmark, gold cuvette marked "Jurgensen, Copenhagen, 1861" and also with script monogram initials at top, unsigned white enamel SS dial, KWKS, cylinder escapement, 12-14J, gilt mvt, s#14002 and s#3135 within case. Gross weight of assembled watch 45.6 dwt (71.0 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Ticking with some excess escapement noise and stopping occasionally, overhaul needed, good repeat function, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, some mild haze and few small spots to plate surfaces; nearly flawless dial with few infinitesimal flakes to rim of seconds-register hole; nearly mint hands; case shows little wear, some scratches, profuse fine to micro-fine scratches, few dings or mild shallow dents scattered around rear perimeter; tight bow; good glass crystal.
